When life turns for the worse, there usually are no easy answers.  We understand that to get back on solid footing; people need all kinds of help.

One gift helps so many

Through United Way, you support a network of 4 local agencies helping people throughout the Roanoke Valley.  These agencies range from the Red Cross to small, lesser-known organizations -- like the Northampton County Council on Aging-- that promote positive change.  These agencies are there when needed by providing programs that respond to emerging needs.  These include services enabling our growing elderly population to stay self-sufficient in their homes.
